Jets win third-straight, beat coyotes at home
The Winnipeg Jets have improved their record to 10-5-2 with a 5-2 win over the visiting Arizona Coyotes on Saturday night.
With three-straight wins and points in 11 of their past 13 games, the Jets are certainly as hot as they come - at least within the Western Conference.
Kyle Connor got his 14th of the season to move into sole possession of first-place across the league, while Mark Scheifele picked up three points in the evening affair.
Connor Hellebuyck got the night off, so it was Laurent Brossoit who earned his second win of the season in front of 12,103 of his biggest supporters.
Brenden Dillon and Josh Morrissey also put up multi-point efforts on the night, while Scheifele added a goal to his two assists, ending a drought of 10 days between markers.
Brenden Dillon fought Liam O'Brien in the second period, as the big Jets defenceman took exception to a check thrown on fellow blueliner Dylan Samberg earlier in the frame.

Mark Scheifele on linemate Kyle Connor:
“He’s amazing. He’s been awesome all season. I’ve been lucky to be on his line, that’s for sure. Obviously, he has an amazing shot. It’s been fun to play with him. He’s just got to keep it going.”
Kyle Connor on if sitting first in goals in the NHL means anything to him:
“Nah, not really. (laughs quietly)
Is the moustache going to stay going into December?
“Yeah, I don't know, that's a good question. I'll get back to you that at the end of November. Yeah. (laughs)”
Next up for the Jets is a three-game southern road trip through Florida and Tennessee. Winnipeg has stops in Tampa Bay, Florida and Nashville, before returning home to Canada Life Centre for a four-game homestand beginning November 28.
