ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Winnipeg and started playing hockey when I was six. I continued playing minor hockey up until high school at Vincent Massey. In my Grade 12 year at VMC, our season was cut short due to COVID right as we were reaching the final series. I heard about the MWJHL through family and friends who had previously played in the league and loved it. I took some time off hockey to focus on my schooling at the University of Manitoba but found myself missing the game. I signed up last year and was drafted to the Northern Stars and played for the 2022-23 season.
LAST HIGHLIGHT
For me, a big achievement was getting the opportunity to play ball hockey for Team Canada in a world championship tournament in Europe this summer. It was an unreal experience playing with people from all across Canada.
THE FUTURE ME
I’m currently in my third year in the genetics program at the University of Manitoba. I’m hoping to get my degree and find a career within the field where I can work in a lab.
