ABOUT ME I was born and raised in Morden and grew up playing for the local team, the Morden Hawks. I played Pembina Valley Hawks AAA Bantam and then had a really bad injury that put me out for most of my second year of Bantam. I played high school hockey in Morden in Grade 10 and then, in grades 11 and 12, I played for the U18 AAA Pembina Valley Hawks again. I joined the Winkler Flyers in 2020 and played only six games because of COVID. The next year, I started with Winkler and was traded to OCN. I went up there but I realized I needed to concentrate on school, so I came back home and went to school. This past year I played for the Twisters.
LAST HIGHLIGHT My best year was 2019-20, my last year with the U18 AAA Hawks. I was captain of that team and I thought we had a great chance to win it all, but after winning the first round of the playoffs we got shut down by COVID.
THE FUTURE ME I have another year left with the Twisters and we should have a pretty good team next year. I’m excited about that. I’m a third-year kinesiology student at the University of Manitoba and want to become a physio-therapist.
