Jets to face Blue Jackets at 5:00 PM on Sunday
The popular roommate duo of Cole Perfetti and Dylan Samberg will once again serve as healthy scratches for the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday evening as the team takes on the Columbus Blue Jackets in Ohio.
Jets head coach Rick Bowness has opted to go with the exact same lineup he used on Friday night in Winnipeg, with the exception of his starting goaltender. Laurent Brossoit - who has earned back-to-back shutouts in his most recent appearances - will get the night off, while Connor Hellebuyck will be thrust back into the starting role.
The 42-19-5 Jets take on the 22-33-11 Blue Jackets, who will once again be without Patrik Laine, as he remains out of the lineup dealing with personal issues. Columbus also no longer has Jack Roslovic, to whom it dealt to the New York Rangers at the trade deadline last week.
Perfetti and Samberg will once again be joined in the press box by newcomer Colin Miller and Rasmus Kupari, as the team will go with the same arrangement of forwards and defencemen it used two days prior.
David Gustafsson, Nate Schmidt and Logan Stanley will remain in the lineup for Winnipeg, which will look to once again pull even with the Colorado Avalanche for first place in the exceptionally tight Central Division.
Puck drop is set for 5:00 PM central time from Nationwide Arena in Columbus.
