On Wednesday, the National Hockey League announced the results of its annual NHL Players' Association Player Poll. With full results listed on NHLPA.com, the 14 questions published ranged in nature from on-ice behaviour, to off-ice and venue attractions, to player personality and likability.
626 members of the NHLPA participated anonymously in the survey, with the results going public and being broken down to percentage points.
Connor McDavid, Andrei Vasilevskiy, Cale Makar, Sidney Crosby, and Patrick Kane took the top player honours, while Marie-Philip Poulin was touted as the most intriguing female hockey player that NHL players would be interested in suiting up alongside.
For the second-straight year, Vegas, NV. took the cake when it came to popular sightseeing road trip destinations, while Bell Centre in Montreal was deemed to have had the very best ice over the course of the season. Edmonton, AB's Rogers Place came in second, while Winnipeg's Canada Life Centre was ranked No. 3 on the list with 10.3 percent of the votes gathered.
Best locker room presence, best shoe game and the league's most underrated player were also determined by the players.
